It is a massage with movements similar to Swedish but with medium to strong pressure to help release muscle tension. This massage is done with oil.
What's the difference between an abyssal massage and a deep tissue massage
Deep tissue massage is a certified massage technique. She uses slow, deep movements. It is a massage that is traditionally given without oil, but some massage therapists use a little.
Abyssal massage is closer to Swedish but with moderate to heavy pressure and it uses massage oil.
